Odds to win the 2019 International

This tourney has been the most contentious field three years running. There is no clear cut favorite, leading to some very short prices for the discerning gambler. As always, bet with your head, not over it.
Elite Division –
MN Chiefs 2-1
The co-favorites come in fresh off a crushing OT loss to Kelly Lake in the MSF State semi-finals. They have lost some potential goals due to a suspension, but will now have to worry far less about their PK unit.
Barrie’s Tavern North America 2-1
Manitoba’s goaltender steps in for the injured “This is Garc” and Cicero has hired Gui to translate in the locker room for the Quebecer’s. Is this really the curtain call for the Barrie’s American contingent playing together? ALL CAPS will be on BCLive game 1 doing commentary, serving his suspension. Deported!
Kelly Lake 5-2
The MN State Champions punch in as the 3rd betting choice. This could be a Gold Sheet overlay? Will have their starting keeper back, as well as a deeper bench with a few Stick&Stoner’s. Somebody get Broten an alarm clock.
C&L Excavating 3-1
Not much difference from 1 to 4 on pricing. All games are going to be contentious. Scouts tell us Swanson is being held together with Gorilla Glue and 30 lb. test line. The Coors Light triplets have apparently reformed their ways on tourney weekends, so expect big things from them v Barrie’s NA
Legion BC 5-1
Their two minute drill is the best in broomball. Prop play O/U on total Legion OT’s is 1.5. If they don’t make it to the chip Street and Ty are invited to sing American AND Canadian National Anthems before the final! Legion fans caught on the hot mic is a given.
They almost cashed at steeper odds in last year’s Nationals. Extremely doubtful in this field though based on recent past performance chart. I don’t think The Sheet could even put them in the Trifecta at this point, but you never know with this club, they are famous for rising up when counted out.
The Intermediate Division is a bit easier to handicap as there are two or three clear cut favorites, but with the entire MN Bombers roster out there as possible pickups there could be some surprises
The defending Midwestern and MSF B State Champions get the chalk.
Nordic Devils 7-2
Veterans galore as Nordic Stars and the Sun Devils try to make magic from a March merger. Three times fast!
Rochester United 4-1
What’s the roster look like? If it’s full they are a threat to take it down.
Eastern Invaders jet in again. Is this the one where they break through?
Watkins Legion 6-1
If they stay out of the box they can beat anyone in this field. Prop on total penalty minute O/U is posted at 16.5. If you have the guts to guess no misconduct, then the under is a lock. Be warned though, they collected two last year.
If Bombers show on this roster then this could be your play of the weekend!
Ice Mafia 10-1
Not this year, but if the squad stays solvent The Sheet posts a future bet of 5-1 for 2020 edition
Station 280 10-1
Another potential overlay if some of the veterans who travelled to Indy suit up for this one.
