The Meltdown moves to a new home for 2018 as Highland Arena in St Paul MN will play host to the event. Take note that this is a Sat/Sun tourney! All games will be completed 4pm on Sunday.

The Meltdown will be played under USA Broomball non-contact rules. All teams are guaranteed at least three games. The Meltdown will also serve as the first leg of the USA Broomball Triple Crown series. The North American/Midwestern Championships Dec 14/15 (Fri, Sat) Augsburg Arena, Mpls MN
The International Championships March 22/23 (Fri, Sat) Augsburg Arena, Mpls MN

Last year’s Triple Crown winners (Tier 1 Barrie’s Tavern. Tier 2 C+) received paid berths to the 2019
USA Broomball National Championships to be held in Fargo ND April 2019. This year’s Triple Crown winners will receive paid National berths to the 2020 event!

Points are awarded to teams based on their finishing positions and size of each tournament field. The team with the most accrued points after completion of The International Championships will be awarded the 2020 paid National berth(s). In addition to the overall point leader, the Class B/C/D team with the highest level of accrued points will also be awarded a paid berth.

You can register for each event individually, and do not have to play in all three to be eligible (a previous Triple Crown winner did not play the 1st leg, but took home championship honors in the 2nd and 3rd leg to capture the overall point total).

If you know you are going to play all three Triple Crown events, a significant sale on combined entry fees will be available until August 1st. One check for $1250 will enter you in all three Triple Crown events. That is a savings of $335 if you were to register for each tournament individually (Meltdown $395, NA $595, International $595).
