2000- The decade opened with the Hansen Sports/Jaros rivalry reaching its peak.
MSF Elite State Champion – Jaros over Bud Duluth
North American Champion – Jaros over Hansen Sports
USA Broomball National Champion – Hansen Sports over Jaros
USBA National Champion – Hansen Sports over Jaros
2001 – The end of the cold war as Hansen’s and Jaros merge to form the nucleus of the USA Blue/USA Red program. USA Blue defeats the CBF National Champion Regina Bruins 6-1 in the finals of the STX International, marking the first time a CBF National Champion and USA Broomball National Champion had met.

2002 – Red and Blue explode and the American games newest mega-rivalry is born! The upswing of the American game reaches new levels as Red and Blue make it an all-American final in the Saskatoon Gold Broom, one of Canada’s top invitational tournaments. Red returns the favor, beating Blue for the first time in the 02 National Championship.

USA Broomball National Champion – USA Red over USA Blue
2003 – History is made as USA Red captures the Challenge Cup, symbolic of the sports world championship in November 02, (The Mag is calling it the 03 season) before the largest crowd ever to watch a broomball game. Red would defeat their bitter rival Blue in the semi-finals of the event and then take out the Montreal Titans in overtime on a legendary goal by Jeff Lacosse,
The victory will go down as the single biggest win in the history of the American game!
USA Blue picked themselves up off the mat after the crushing defeat from Red in the Challenge Cup and turned in the most impressive season recorded in Canada or the USA.
In succession they would defeat the 02 Canadian National Champion Ottawa Nationals in the finals of the Syracuse Can/AM, the soon to be 03 CBF National Champion Bruno Axmen in the finals of the Saskatoon Gold Broom and QA in the finals of the North American Championship.
They would culminate the dream season with a 3 games to 1 Super Series victory over USA Red for the USA Broomball National Championship, and watch their split squad finish 1st and 2nd in the MSF Elite State Tournament under the old Hansen and Jaros names,

North American Champion – USA Blue over QA
Syracuse Can/AM Champion- USA Blue over Ottawa Nationals

2004 – The National Championship would travel outside Minnesota for the first time as USA Blue and USA Red continued their stranglehold on the title game, meeting in Omaha Nebraska,
Inferno would become the first team other than Hansen Sports or Tony Jaros to win the MSF Elite State Championship since 1996, defeating another newcomer to the finals, Vannellis,
USA Blue would win their 3rd straight Saskatoon Gold Broom, defeating the Bruno Axmen in overtime, in what many Canadian observers called the best game they had ever seen.
That win would mark the last time in the decade an American men’s team would win an International event.

2005- USA Blues run of titles comes to end as the team disbands and splits up for Nationals and the North Americans. QA finally breaks through and captures a major, winning the North American Championship.
The longest consecutive running indoor tourney in American history comes to an end, as the MSF is unable to secure a site for the Elite Men’s State Championship.
Inferno follows up their 04 State Championship with a 05 National Championship.

USA Broomball National Champion – Inferno over NorBull
2006- Controversy rains down as the Men’s A National Championship scheduled to be held in Cleveland Ohio only receives four registrations. Those four teams are allowed to stay in Minnesota to compete, while all other divisions take place in Cleveland.
The core of USA Blue comes back and merges with some key Vannelis players to form the Blues. They pick up right where they left off, facing off against long-time rival QA in the newly named MSF Class A State Championship.
Inferno starts its streak of consecutive North American Championships.
MSF Class A Champion – Blues over QA
Midwestern Champion – Hitmen
North American Champion – Inferno over QA
USA Broomball National Champion – Blues over Life Chiro
2007 – Blaine hosts what is then an indoor tournament record 39 team National Championship. Inferno repeats as North American Champions and adds a 2nd MSF State Championship to their resume
The Blues deny Inferno a chance at sweeping the majors, as they win the National Title before a packed house.

Midwestern Champion – Penetrators
North American Champion – Inferno over Blues
USA Broomball National Champion – Blues over Inferno
2008 – USA Broomball takes their show on the road as Fargo ND plays host to a fantastic tournament.
Inferno 3-peats as North American Champions,
Disaster once again strikes the MSF Title game, as the refs stage a walkout in protest of players conduct.
Midwestern Champion – Beaver Roofing
North American Champion – Inferno over Blues
USA Broomball National Champion – Blues over Inferno
2009 – A world record 54 indoor teams converge on Richfield MN for the USA Broomball National Championships. Inferno ties USA Blues record with a 4th straight North American Championship.
Skinners Pub claims both the MSF State Championship and USA Broomball National Championship.
